MadKap Productions Short Play Festival: Visiting Hours

A woman visits the prisoner who murdered her husband...

MadKap Productions presents its 3rd Annual Short Play Festival which features plays produced by Chicago-area theatre artists.  I'm directing Visiting Hours by Mikala Francini which was featured in the Best of BYOT Productions showcase that I directed in 2015.  There's a $100 prize for the "Best of Fest" as decided by YOU, the audience, so come on out and vote!

Harvest New Works Festival: ​The Box Office

the side project presents the Harvest New Works Festival, a series of reading for new play development.  I'm directing The Box Office by Matthew Fowler, in which a group of box office employees struggle to find meaning in their lives, hold onto their dreams,  and mostly just get through their next phone call.

arciTEXT Festival:The Third and Last Meeting of the South Tampa Coral Reef Painting Committee

Arc Theatre's 2017 arciTEXT Festival presents a series of new works based on the theme, "United We Stand."  I'm directing The Third and Last Meeting of the South Tampa Coral Reef Painting Committee by Harry Wood, in which a group of well-meaning but misguided women try to save the environment.

The Whiskey Radio Hour: Let's Find Out!

The Whiskey Rebellion Theatre presents Episode 14 of The Whiskey Radio Hour.  I'm directing Let's Find Out! by Cassandra Rose, in which the titular game show goes nuclear (literally). The show is a live recording for their podcast featuring play with scored with live foley sound effects.

WHEN: April 10, 2017 - Doors open at 8pm, show starts at 8:30pm

IN/FLUX: A Festival of Storytelling

I'm directing a night in the Festival of Storytelling at the side project, including live music and storytellers Adam Webster, Jeremy Schaefer, Claire Rychlewski, Michael Rychlewski, and Maggie Tomasek.
